CAREER PLANNER Forward Careers, Inc. | Full-Time Help adults launch healthcare careers while strengthening Wisconsin’s future workforce. Forward Careers is hiring a Career Planner for our nationally recognized NEXT healthcare workforce program. In this role, you’ll coach and support adults as they complete training, secure employment, and build long-term career stability - while making a lasting impact in your community. WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Career Planner, you’ll build relationships with participants and help them take concrete steps toward successful healthcare careers, including: Coach participants through career exploration, goal setting, training, job search, employment, and career advancement. Connect participants to healthcare education and occupational training, including short-term training and credential opportunities. Work to identify employment, work-based learning, and advancement opportunities. Provide resume assistance, interview preparation, job search support, and employment coaching. Coordinate supportive services and connect participants with community resources that can help them successfully complete training and maintain employment. Build relationships with employers, colleges, training providers, and community organizations throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Maintain timely and accurate participant documentation, case notes, service records, and program data and follow up with participants throughout training and employment to help address challenges and keep them moving forward. Contribute directly to program goals for training, work-based learning, credential attainment, employment, and career advancement. POSITION DETAILS Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Some occasional evening/community events may be required) Hybrid work options are available after six months of employment Primary Location: Waukesha, with occasional travel throughout Southeast Wisconsin; business-related travel is reimbursed. Wage Range: Hourly Wage: $18–25/hour based on experience, plus fringe benefits, retirement plan, paid holidays, professional development opportunities, and summer hours.
