This is a Full-Time (64 hours per pay period) position working 4 8-hour shifts during the week. Position does not require weekends or holidays. As a Clinical Risk Specialist RN you will be responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and promoting risk and compliance-related projects, and research projects to ensure patient safety and facility compliance with regulatory agencies. In addition, Oversight for FDA MedSun reporting, occurrence report follow-up and patient relations interface and resolution. Additional duties may include assisting with HIPAA and compliance activities. Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: BSN preferred. Experience with Scripps’ management system and/or lean management preferred. Experience in quality/risk management/regulatory in a healthcare setting preferred. Experience with data analysis preferred. CPHQ preferred. CPHRM preferred. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: 5 years of acute care and regulatory experience and data collection and risk management experience. Must have experience with adult education, basic statistics and project management. Orientation to root cause analysis is helpful. Required Certification/Registration: Current CA RN license #LI-JS1
