Support medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and established protocols. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support. Document patient information meticulously in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, maintaining compliance with medical documentation standards. Assist with infection control practices using aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or wound management. Support emergency response efforts in acute or trauma settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or ICU environments by assisting with patient stabilization and safety measures. Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state requirements. Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS). Prior experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is highly preferred. Knowledge of specialized care areas including geriatrics, behavioral health, pediatrics, hospice care, infectious disease management, and post-acute care. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities across various settings such as outpatient clinics or community-based programs.
