Key Accountabilities: Provide support to the provider by rooming the patients efficiently and using critical thinking skills to give the patients excellent care. Provide timely and efficient follow-up directly with patients regarding all correspondence; including labs, phone calls, emails, paperwork, etc. Be a part of the care team and help to communicate the patients' needs as the core of the team Follows the policies set by the organization to give high-quality care to all patients Support the organization as needed. Utilizes appropriate nursing and human relations skills in the provision of patient care. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with patients and other health care providers. Responds competently to unanticipated events and medical emergencies based on scope of practice, professional experience, and established protocol. Integrates principles of case management into primary care nursing activities under the direction of the Nursing Case Manager. Exhibits awareness of and sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic differences among the clinic population and delivers care accordingly. Education/Experience Current ND nursing license required Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Previous nursing experience preferred Physical Requirements/Activities Standing, walking, climbing, balancing, bending, carrying, reaching, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, gripping, talking, typing, hearing/listening, seeing/observing.
