Full Job Description
Location: Multiple Sites (80–90% Travel Required) Schedule: Full-Time, Includes Evenings and Weekends Compensation- 70-75k Summary: Serves as a clinical resource to monitor, implement, and support infection control and medication safety standards across Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness sites. Conducts site audits, analyzes data, reports on quality metrics, and supports policy development and staff training. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the Quality and Safety Committee to define and maintain infection control standards * Conduct audits to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, CDC, and public health guidelines * Develop, revise, and implement infection control and medication safety policies * Deliver staff training on infection prevention, safety, and compliance * Perform ongoing surveillance and present quarterly reports * Monitor/report morbidity and communicable diseases to IDPH * Resolve reporting issues in partnership with clinic staff * Identify clinical risk areas and implement improvement plans * Maintain staff health compliance: TB screenings, flu vaccines, post-exposure follow-up * Stay current with evidence-based guidelines for infection control and medication safety * Cross-train and support medication management audits and injection clinic oversight * Oversee clinical competencies for support staff as needed * Participate in community health fairs and educational outreach * Complete all required trainings; perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Registered Nurse (RN), licensed in Illinois (required) * 3–5 years related clinical experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field (preferred) * Current CPR certification * Valid driver’s license and auto insurance * Available for regular travel, evenings, and weekends * Strong communication, organization, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Performance Expectations: * Demonstrate knowledge of infection control, safety, and quality standards * Apply Aunt Martha’s 5-step Performance Improvement model (PDSA) * Maintain accuracy, compliance, and professionalism across clinical quality initiatives Physical Requirements: * Frequent travel to agency sites * Regular walking, standing, kneeling, lifting (up to 10 lbs) * Must meet vision and mobility demands of a clinical setting Benefits: * Competitive Pay * Health, Dental, Vision Insurance * Life & Disability Insurance * Paid Vacation, Sick Days, and Holidays * Retirement Plan * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Discounts on services like cell phones, restaurants, and more Aunt Martha’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
