Registered Nurse (PACU)

What You’ll Do * Provide attentive post-anesthesia recovery care and monitor patient status * Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately * Deliver patient education, including discharge instructions and follow-up care * Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow * Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards * Support a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment * Participate in quality improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For * Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills * Ability to multitask effectively in a procedural environment * Clear, professional communication skills * Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance * Team‑focused mindset with accountability and professionalism Qualifications * Active RN license * Graduate of an accredited nursing program * Current BLS and ACLS certifications * Minimum of 2 years RN experience (GI, PACU, OR, or acute care preferred) * Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills Physical & Work Environment Expectations * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday * Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist with patient movement (up to 50 pounds) * Manual dexterity and ability to perform clinical procedures * Work in procedure rooms with medical equipment and disinfecting agents * Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and body fluids * Climate‑controlled environment with occasional reduced lighting * Schedule and hours may vary based on patient and Center needs Why Join Digestive Health Center of Bedford * Monday–Friday schedule (no nights or weekends) * Outpatient setting with predictable hours * Collaborative, physician-led team * Focus on patient-centered, high-quality care * Support from AMSURG, a national leader in ambulatory surgery center management We do not discriminate in practices or employment opportunities on the basis of an individual's race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any other prohibited category set forth in federal or state regulations.
