Join Our Team NeuLife Rehabilitation of Louisiana is a leading provider of post-acute rehabilitation and residential services for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Spinal Cord Injuries, and other neurological disorders. We are committed to improving the quality of life for our patients through compassionate, person-centered care. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for providing and coordinating nursing care, administering treatments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care and medical treatment in accordance with established care plans and scope of practice. Conduct health assessments and regularly review patient care plans. Assist in developing individualized care plans and monitor their implementation. Administer medications safely and accurately according to physician orders and established protocols. Coordinate with pharmacy providers regarding medication management as needed. Communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Complete documentation, charting, and required reports accurately and in a timely manner. Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care practices. Supervise and support nursing-related activities of LPNs and direct care staff. Participate in scheduled on-call and emergency response duties. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements. Collaborate with treatment team members to promote positive patient outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current CPR and First Aid Certification. One (1) to three (3) years of nursing experience preferred. Experience in rehabilitation, neurological care, long-term care, or a related setting is a plus. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of rehabilitation facility operations, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Strong patient care and assessment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic documentation systems. Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergency situations. Physical Requirements Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to hear and understand normal conversations and distinguish variations in sound. Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, and climb stairs for extended periods. Frequent use of hands and fingers for writing, documentation, and computer work. Visual abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and focus adjustment. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
