We are looking for RNs to work in: * Med Surg/Special Care * Maternity/OB * Emergency Dept * Float  * Clinical Supervision Job Summary  As nurses of Pomerene Hospital it is our responsibility to support the mission and role of Pomerene Hospital within the organization and out in the community at all times. Pomerene nurses will demonstrate a support of the hospital's mission, vision, values and strategic plan in a team-oriented environment. The nurse also performs all job duties in compliance with laws, regulations and in observance of accrediting agency standards and related professional organization standards. Professionalism will be maintained throughout employment and includes physical appearance and behavioral presentation. Essential Functions:  •  Moves throughout the facility as needed, appropriately assists in emergency drills and situations, and demonstrates the physical, clinical, and professional capacity to provide direct patient care as described in the tasks and duties of this position. •  Coordinates patient care as assigned, which includes assessing and interpreting patient care information and data. • Provides appropriate patient and family education. • Works cooperatively with unit staff, physicians and ancillary departments. • Maintains high standards for professional nursing practice. • Performs all tasks and duties of this position according to hospital and department policy and procedure. • Demonstrates commitment to Pomerene Hospital’s Values. • Actively supports and encourages Primary Support Person (PSP) / Family involvement in patient's care, with consent of patient. Includes PSP / family members in discussion of nursing plan of care, medications, consultations with physicians and discharge instructions. Encourages PSP / family member presence at the patient's bedside and participation in the patient's care. Education & Experience Valid RN License - Required  1-3 years of RN Experience - preferred but not necessary
