Job Details Kettering Health Soin | Beavercreek | Resource | Days Responsibilities & Requirements Job Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel. Utilizing organizational resources the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement. The RN’s actions and communications should reflect Kettering Health Networks mission, vision, values, and policies in interactions with patients, families, and coworker. The Registered Nurse reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager. Job Requirements Graduation from an accredited nursing program Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse At least 12 months of RN experience in an acute care or long term care setting BLS certification ACLS certification required within six months of hire Must be scheduled a minimum of 480 hours per calendar year Minimum of 5 shifts (60 hours) per a 6 week schedule Weekend Shift Requirement 2 Holiday per year Overview Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
