Rates begin at $40-46 per hour with additional shift and weekend differentials. Our 8 hour shifts are ideal for work-life balance. Overall great community with amazing employee perks. This is a per diem position with a flexible schedule. Apply today! Shift Differentials: * 2nd shift: +$2.00/hr. * 3rd shift: +$4.00/hr. * Weekends: +$2.00/hr Responsibilities: 1. Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident. 2. Adhere to current resident care plans on all residents under his/her care. 3. Assess each resident daily to evaluate resident needs. Abide by resident rights. 4. Follow physician’ orders. 5. Assume primary responsibility for complete nursing care, treatments, dressings and other physician orders. 6. Transcribe physician’s orders promptly and accurately. 7. Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness. 8. Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes. 9. Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents. 10. Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices. 11. Must be able to communicate effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations. 12. Maintain a liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for the residents’ needs. 13. Must be familiar with drug actions and interactions. 14.
