Registered Nurse (RN) Lone Tree Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. 💰 Pay: $50–$51 per hour + Benefits General Purpose The Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising day-to-day nursing activities during their assigned shift, ensuring compliance with current federal, state, and local regulations, standards, and guidelines. The RN works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), when applicable, to ensure the highest quality of resident care is maintained at all times. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Nursing & Clinical Leadership Supervise and coordinate nursing activities during the assigned shift. Ensure nursing staff follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges. Monitor and support the delivery of quality resident care. Complete required nursing documentation, charting, reports, and medical forms. Complete accident and incident reports as necessary. Participate in resident care planning and discharge planning. Collaborate with nursing staff and other departments to promote continuity of care. Administrative Responsibilities Assist the DON with the day-to-day operation of the nursing department. Provide guidance and support to nursing service personnel. Ensure staff members comply with their respective job responsibilities and facility procedures. Assist with maintaining and updating nursing policies and procedures. Make recommendations to the DON regarding nursing department operations and resident care. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Participate in facility surveys and inspections as requested. Attend and participate in nursing staff meetings and planning activities. Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation. Compliance & Confidentiality Ensure nursing practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Maintain resident confidentiality and protect all Protected Health Information (PHI). Safeguard facility and resident information systems, including assigned user credentials. Report suspected privacy, security, or unauthorized-access violations to the appropriate leadership. Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred. Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality resident care. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all facility policies and regulations.
