This position combines hands-on nursing care with clinical coordination, staff education, and collaboration across medical, clinical, and operations teams to ensure exceptional outcomes. This role includes regular travel to residential group homes throughout Lansing and surrounding areas. What You'll Do Provide skilled nursing care, medication administration, vaccinations, and physician-ordered treatments Complete nursing assessments and monitor individuals' ongoing health needs Coordinate medical, psychiatric, dental, vision, and specialty care appointments Monitor infections and provide follow-up care Educate Direct Support Professionals on medical equipment, medication administration, and health monitoring Perform diabetic foot assessments, first aid, and health screenings Audit medication rooms, eMAR, and electronic health records for compliance Assist with care planning, policy development, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives Provide medical triage and participate in the nursing on-call rotation Support regulatory compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Two (2) years of nursing experience preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel throughout the Lansing region Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills Comfortable working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs Must successfully pass a criminal background check What We're Looking For We're seeking an RN who is compassionate, organized, and committed to person-centered care.
