We’re also introducing new staffing patterns and shifts —designed to enhance flexibility and work-life balance for our team. We are offering a $5,000 bonus for the evening shift. As a Registered Nurse at Valley View Village, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position Shifts Available: Day: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm Evening 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Wage Range: $37.50+ /hour depending on experience Bonus: $5,000 for evening shift only Location: 2571 Guthrie Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317 Registered Nurse responsibilities: Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow-up action as necessary Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response. Monitor residents and report any change in their condition. Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software. Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff. Monitor performance of CNA staff. Use strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others. Registered Nurse Qualifications: Must have a current Iowa RN license or have RN licensure within the compact states. CPR certificate or willingness to obtain it. Stable work history. Must have strong communication and organizational skills. Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
