Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under the proficient direction of a Registered Nurse, aligning with established policies and procedures to optimize your skills and contribute to our patient-centered mission. Every day you will perform vital patient care tasks, support nursing staff, and actively participate in a supportive team environment where your skills and experience are highly valued, with clear pathways for professional development and career advancement. Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs. Promptly answers call lights and responds to patient needs. Reports patient status changes and needs to Registered Nurse accurately and in a timely manner. Accurately documents vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed and reports findings promptly to Registered Nurse. Maintains thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records. Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by the nurse. Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members. Communicates concerns regarding hazards or errors related to patients to the health care team. Job Requirements Required High School Diploma/G.E.D. Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program State registered CNA license Preferred Six (6) months previous CNA or healthcare experience.
