Job DetailsJob Location: Lenbrook Square Foundation 3747 Peachtree Rd NE - Atlanta, GA 30319Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: 1st Shift (AM)Job summary: As the leader of Lenbrook's Skilled Nursing Facility, this role oversees both licensed and non-licensed staff, ensuring the provision of healthcare and nursing services to residents round-the-clock, seven days a week. The primary responsibility is to effectively manage Health Care and provide oversight by assisting with emergency care to the entire campus ad hoc, by coordinating with various disciplines to deliver high-quality care to all patients and residents. The position is also accountable for ensuring quality care through measurable outcomes, including regulatory compliance. Administrative and Supervisory Responsibilities: • Perform resident rounds daily, providing correction and instruction to staff as necessary. • Review 24-hour reports and conduct follow-up actions. • Assist in developing staff schedules to ensure adequate nursing coverage, meeting both facility and state requirements. • Supervise all aspects of care provision as per residents' individual plans, utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. • Conduct or delegate documentation audits for new admissions and readmissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Ensure skin assessments/audits are conducted regularly. • Oversee nursing interventions to meet residents' personal, physical, and cognitive needs while promoting social interaction and choice. • Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory agency standards. • Actively participate in the Performance Improvement Team (PIT) and other pertinent committees. • Cultivate effective employee relations and supervise direct care staff to maintain quality care standards. • Assist in orientation, staff development, and training, conducting performance reviews promptly. • Review transcribed physician orders and follow up on Consultant Pharmacy and Wound Reports. • Participate in nursing care as required. Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: • Conduct required audits and summaries for quality assurance (QA) efforts, attending all QA meetings. • Provide oversight and support to the MDS Coordinator in updating Resident Assessment and Comprehensive Care plans. • Complete monthly reports on quality indicators as necessary. • Recruit and hire licensed and non-licensed personnel within budgetary guidelines. Policy Development and Implementation: • Develop policies, procedures, and objectives, overseeing their implementation. • Ensure the delivery of quality nursing care round the clock in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards. • Conduct annual performance evaluations for licensed and non-licensed personnel. Financial Management: • Assist in the budgetary process and provide ongoing variance reporting on a monthly basis. Problem-Solving and Goal Setting: • Prioritize tasks amidst frequent interruptions to meet deadlines and ensure timely follow-up. • Identify issues and trends, developing plans for resolution including staff education and evaluation. • Establish short and long-term goals for the department in alignment with organizational objectives. Compliance and Human Resources: • Communicate and uphold the Corporate Compliance Program and adhere to the Code of Conduct. • Recruit and retain qualified, engaged associates.
