Please click here to learn more about our locations. Job Description Shriners Children's Chicago is seeking an RN to work part-time (20 hours per week) in our Outpatient Clinic. Key Responsibilities: The Pediatric RN works as part of the Outpatient Clinic team to provide care to patients across all of our service lines. We provide a collaborative multidisciplinary team approach in delivery of family patient centered care. In this position, you'll be responsible and accountable for the care provided to patients in the clinic during each shift. You'll utilize the nursing process to assess patients, plan care, interventions and evaluate outcomes. You'll work alongside our physician team to assist with procedures and provide patient education. Our Outpatient Clinic team enjoys a great quality of life with weekday schedules only...no weekends or holidays. Required Qualifications: BSN degree or in progress RN in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred Qualifications: 2 years' experience in acute care nursing Bilingual English/Spanish Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
