Full Job Description

This is a PRN position and the pay range is $38.62-$57.93   Position-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities:  * Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.  * Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.  * Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.  * Identifies barriers to effective communication based on psychosocial, literacy, financial, and cultural considerations.  * Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.  * Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.  * Employs critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.  * Partners with the healthcare consumer to implement a patient-centered plan of care.  * Demonstrates caring attitudes and behaviors to develop therapeutic relationships.  * Uses evidence-based interventions and strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.  * Integrates critical thinking and technology solutions.  * Delegates according to the health, safety, and welfare of the patients we serve.  * Demonstrates respect, equity, and empathy in actions and interactions with culturally diverse and vulnerable patients.  * Performs other duties as assigned.
