Hiring Agency General Government Cabinet | Department of Veterans Affairs Location 926 Veterans Drive Hanson, KY 42413 USA Description The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking for self- motivated, energetic Registered Nurses who possess the skills, knowledge, and desire to care for Kentucky Veterans using a holistic nursing approach. Here you will be able to provide quality nursing services to our residents, which includes the following: Assessing and implementing care plans Evaluating care for the residents Guiding Nurse Aides in the care of residents Charting health information Participating in staff education and directly caring for our residents We offer flexible scheduling, holiday, weekend and shift premiums and the Veterans Affairs Nurse Loan Repayment Program.
