Description Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking for a fulfilling opportunity in the Dallas area? Overture Home Care is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled RN to join our team full time. We assist seniors in and around the Dallas area, and specialize in Alzheimer's / Dementia care, hospice, and general geriatric care. As a vital member of our healthcare family, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch care to seniors of diverse needs throughout the Dallas area. Responsibilities and Duties Performing basic nursing procedures, including, but not limited to administration of medications and fluids, and all other nursing procedures applicable to the area of assignment and/or type of patients to which assignment is accepted. Training caregiving staff on RN delegated care needed Assess the patient's needs, develop, and implement an effective individualized plan of care/plan of treatment. Observe, report and document any change in patient's condition, giving significant observations, nursing intervention and action following nursing procedure. Complete required reports and client assessments as directed. Requirements Must have a full, active license as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of two years related work experience in a geriatric healthcare setting required. Flexibility as needed when it comes to assessments and scheduling trainings Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently Demonstrates initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility Clinical skills: documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, care coordination.
