Your future role at a glance Location: Remote - Must be within 1 hour of Milwaukee, WI Department: Transfer Center Schedule: Mid shift | 11am - 11pm | Full Time Salary: $40.41 - $57.05 (per hour) How you'll make an impact in this role Facilitate patient movement across markets based on acuity, bed availability, and service requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate levels of care. Connect requesting physicians with specialty consultants and maintain relationships with referral sources. Assist and maintain records with pre-registration, insurance verification, and overall care processes for process improvement purposes. Monitor status changes and relay pertinent medical reports to admitting physicians and nursing units. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional requirements you'll need Critical care experience, such as ED highly desired.
