Full Job Description

Registered Nurse Manager Loup Basin Public Health Department is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Manager to provide leadership and support across public health programs. This position will directly supervise Community Health Workers and other assigned staff, including providing guidance, training, performance feedback, and assistance with day-to-day program operations. The position will also serve as a backup Competent Professional Authority (CPA) for the WIC program. CPA training may be completed after hire. Additional responsibilities include assisting with immunization services as needed, particularly during high-volume periods such as flu season, and supporting the planning, implementation, documentation, and reporting of grant-funded activities. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and adaptable leader who can balance staff supervision, nursing responsibilities, and program support while promoting high-quality services throughout the department. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead and support staff from a variety of professional backgrounds Willingness to complete required WIC CPA training after hire Ability to assist with immunization clinics and other public health services Experience with public health, grant-funded programs, WIC, or community-based services is preferred
