Registered Nurse (RN) – Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care in hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Monitor patient conditions and promptly report significant changes. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to CNAs and other support staff. Supervise nursing activities to ensure quality patient care. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions. Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards. Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and critical thinking in all patient care situations. Promote a positive, respectful, and culturally sensitive care environment. Maintain flexibility with patient assignments, floating, and staffing needs. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program. Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Minimum 6 months of recent RN experience. Current BLS/CPR Certification (ACLS preferred where applicable). Negative TB test (as required). Successful background check. Annual physical examination (if required by the facility). Compliance with facility COVID-19 vaccination and screening requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 80 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
